The Menai Bridge constructed by Thomas Telford to carry the London to Holyhead (for Dublin) A5 Road across the Menai Strait.
Menai Bridge Pier is a steamer pier which saw occasional calls in recent years by MV BALMORAL from which this photograph was taken. It is now usually the home of research ship RV PRINCE MADOG which can often be found alongside.
