STENA HEBERNIA seen at Carlisle Pier Dún Laoghaire in October 1994. STENA HIBERNIA was originally Built for British Railways Sealink in 1977. She was renamed following the acquisition of Sealink from Sea Containers British Ferries operation. The blue train shed of the Carlisle Pier station was still standing, however, the rail link to the Dublin - Bray line had been severed and tracks removed. Passengers having to walk to the nearby Dún Laoghaire station.
