Prince's Jetty is one of the earliest concrete structures of its type. Its restoration is included in plans which have been published for the Liverpool Waters development. Back in 1999 the old wooden hut which still in 2014 clings on to the top of the of the Jetty was in slightly better condition. One wonders why no effort was ever made to recover and restore the old gangway obviously recovered from the old wooden Liverpool Landing Stage demolished in the 1970s. That like the hut still clings on in 2014, but blew over in a gale in early 2016. Now the whole jetty is to be removed to allow for expansion of the the Liverpool Cruise terminal.
