The ASGARD - Erskine Childers private yacht as displayed in Kilmainham Gaol. This yacht was used to carry German weapons which were used by the Irish Volunteers in the 1916 Easter Rising. The vessel was later used as a sail training vessel before being retired to Kilmainham. During the early 21st Century the yacht was fully restored to its original condition and is on display at Collins Barracks Museum in Dublin.
