Greenslades Tours Bristol LH6L #326 JFJ506M seen at Dartmeet, Dartmoor on an Excursion from Exeter in the company of a Wallace Arnold Coach. The vehicle was delivered new to the company in 1975. The coach now appears to be preserved.

It is carrying the Royal Blue 100 Years of Express Coach Services Centenary sticker which was attached to most Western National - Royal Blue coaches in 1980.

Western National Bristol VRT VDV141S #941 "warship" ILLUSTRIOUS climbs out of Shaldon on a Teignmouth to Torquay service causing something of a tailback. This was one of a number of Western National Bristol VRT buses which had removable roofs the same as the Devon General Leyland Atlantean "Seadogs" named after famous West Country seafarers.

The long demolished Greenslades Tours Depot at Wylleys Avenue, Exeter. A care home now stands on the site. Greenslades Tours were acquired by Devon General and passed to Western National when WNOC absorbed Devon General. Following the break up of Western National Greenslades passed back to the ownership of the new Devon General. In 1987 it passed to Nightingales of Exmouth before passing to Hookways of Meeth. The company became defunct in 2011. However a new company formed in 2018 Greenslades Tours (Exeter) Ltd continues the name.
