Daniel Adamson - MSC Cruise - August 26, 2023
To mark the 120th Anniversary of the Launch of the DANIEL ADAMSON in August 1903 the historic steam tug tender operate a cruise to Mode Wheel Locks in Salford along the Manchester Ship Canal.
After being sold by original owners the Shropshire Union Railways and Canal Company to the Manchester Ship Canal Company in 1921 the ship spent most of its working life on the ship canal until withdrawn in 1986. She returned to service in 2016 as as a pleasure steamer operating on the River Mersey, River Weaver Navigation and Manchester Ship Canal operated by volunteer crews.
