The Snowdon Mountain Railway - April 26, 2020
the grave of Sir John Sutherland Harmood-Banner in Toxeth Park Cemetery, Liverpool. Sir John was a director and chairman of the Snowdon Mountain Tramroad and Hotels Company from opening of the railway to the mid 1920s.
An accountant by profession he was also associated with the Pullman Car Company.
Locomotive number 6 PADARN was originally named SIR HARMOOD after him.
Harmood-Banner was prominent in Local Liverpool politics serving Conservative councillor Lord Mayor and also MP for Everton for 20 years
