Welsh Highland Railway Journey - February 20, 2019
A Welsh Highland Railway journey from Beddgelert to Porthmadog Harbour viewed from Ffestiniog Railway observation car 152 on a wet winter's day! The junction with the route of the Porthmadog, Beddgelert and South Snowdon Railway is on the right. The railway which was to have used electric traction utilising hydro electric power generated locally was never completed. Part of the route being incorporated into the Welsh Highland Railway. The power station at Cwm Dyli was however completed and still provides electric power to the area.
