Castle Class 255 HST led by class 43 power car 43198 DRIVER STAN MARTIN awaiting departure with the 15:55 Plymouth to Penzance. Driver Martin was one of six people tragically killed at Ufton Nervet, Berkshire on November 06, 2004 when his HST collided with an unlit car which had deliberately stopped on a half-barrier crossing in a suicide. The driver of the car was also killed in the collision. The locomotive was named in honour of Stan Martin on what would have been his 59th Birthday.
