Maughold Lighthouse
Maughold Head Lighthouse was completed and illuminated for the first time on April 15, 1914. The 77 foot tower is constructed lower down the cliff than the keeper’s accommodation and is connected by a flight of steps. Today the accommodation is a private dwelling as the lighthouse is controlled and monitored remotely by the Northern Lighthouse Board.
