Dee Basin Interpretation Board
The Dee Basin was once a dumping ground for withdrawn Shropshire Union Railway and Canal Company vessels after company operations ceased in 1921. It has since been redeveloped with residential and commercial premises on site and a replica SURCCo drawbridge type lift bridge provided for pedestrians.
