Morwellham Quay - March 31, 1981

Construction work of the replica elevated sections of the Devon Great Consols Mineral Railway is nearly complete in this view. The just beyond where the sections joing was the tunnel mouth. The tunnel led under the Bedford Cottages to the incline plane. The tunnel mouth was excavated by archaeologists in the early years of the 21st Century.
