Morwellham Quay - March 31, 1981

One of the copper ore chutes located on the Lower Copper Quay near the Hydro Electric Power Station. Traces of the copper can be seen - note the blue staining inside the chute. The chutes were served by a branch of the Tavistock Canal Railway which ran along the top of the substantial retaining wall.
